Welcome to Symmetry Chiropractic. Our mission is to offer a unique and comfortable healing environment for our community. We are committed to staying current with the most recent chiropractic science in order to bring our patients the most up to date non-invasive health care available. It is our goal to serve and educate as many people in our community as possible, in the hopes of improving the quality of life for those around us..
Symmetry Chiropractic is the office of Dr. Cynthia Boyd, D.C. Originally from Boonton, New Jersey, Dr. Boyd is a 2005 graduate of Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW) in Hayward, from which she holds a doctorate in Chiropractic. In addition, she is a 2001 graduate of Bloomfield College, from which she holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a focus in Pre-Chiropractic studies.
Dr. Boyd specializes in Chiropractic Biophysics Technique (CBP), otherwise known as Clinical Biomechanics of Posture, and is one of the only certified distinguished fellows in the East Bay. Throughout her studies, Dr. Boyd has held many positions in the CBP club on campus and has further extended her education in the field by attending many advanced seminars outside of the mandatory scholastic curriculum. Not only has she has instructed in this technique, she has helped to implement CBP concepts in the school clinic. Furthermore, during her clinic internship at LCCW, Dr. Boyd expanded her experience in CBP? into a strong focus on pediatrics, and was highly encouraged by the response and results in children.
Dr. Boyd has always been passionate in finding ways to enrich the everyday living experience and motivate her surrounding community towards living happier and healthier lives. Early in her education, Dr. Boyd was fortunate enough to witness the effects of CBP in a small chiropractic office, where classic symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, migraine headaches, ear infections, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and TMJ problems where commonly alleviated, and is thrilled to bring her expertise and enthusiasm to Alameda, a town she has called home for several years. Dr. Boyd is honored to be able to help the people of Alameda whom she sees not only as patients, but as neighbors as well.
